Description

The Chestnuts is a house dating from approximately 1820 to 1840. It is a two-storey building with a stucco-faced exterior and a gable-end slate roof. The symmetrical front elevation has three windows, featuring recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The front door consists of six fielded panels, topped with a rectangular fanlight, set within a panelled surround. A case pilaster is present, along with a frieze featuring panels and roundels, and a shallow cornice.
