Description

A house dating to the 17th century, altered subsequently. The house is timber framed with white painted plaster infilling and painted brick, and has a thatched roof with a central brick chimney stack. It is two storeys and an attic in height. The south front has a central modern thatched porch with a modern door, and three casement windows. There are two 2-light casement windows to the first floor. A modern single-storey wing with a pantile roof is located on the left. The right-hand gable has two 2-light casement windows to each floor. A 1-storey and attic rear wing, originally a separate cottage, also dates to the 17th century and has a thatched roof with two 3-light dormers and a central brick chimney. This wing has a central door and four casement windows to the ground floor.
