Description

Hillcrest Cottage, formerly known as Tudor Cottage, is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infilling and a thatched roof, topped with a brick chimney. The central part of the cottage is two storeys high and includes one bay of casement windows, along with an additional window on the right side of the ground floor on the west side. There is a one-storey wing with a gable facing the road, which has a three-light window in the gable end. On the east side, there is a two-light casement window. At the northern end, there is a one-storey and attic wing that includes a door and one window on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a modern one-storey addition with a lean-to pantiled roof.
