Description
62 London Road is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features three windows. It is constructed of red brick, which was formerly painted, and has a slate roof supported by paired brackets and stone gable end brackets. A brick chimney is present on the roof. The windows are glazing bar style with painted heads and keys, and they are near flush framed. The entrance has a reeded doorcase with panelled reveals and soffit, a radiating fanlight, and a plain hood supported by cut brackets, though it now has a modern glazed door. To the right, there is a recent two-storey garage extension with one window that connects to the former stables, which have two bays. Additionally, there is a two-storey extension at the rear, on the south-west side, which features a brick modillion cornice.
