Description

Nos 45 and 45A on High Street are early to mid-19th century, three-storey houses that were built in two sections and feature two windows. They have a slate roof with deep eaves and brick chimneys. The buildings are constructed of red brick, with three course bands above the ground and first floors. There are gauged bricks above the right-hand window on the first floor and above the second-floor windows. On the left side of the first floor, there is a rectangular oriel window with five lights. The ground floor has a modern shop front. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 23 to 49 (odd) High Street, with Nos 29 to 37 (odd) being of local interest only.
