Description
Trevine, with Garden Walls to Boley Hill, is a house dating from the late 18th century and early to mid-19th century, with a rear range. It is constructed of brick, and the roof is not visible. The building consists of two ranges of different dates that are adjacent and run parallel to each other. It has two storeys.
The front features a two-window range and a three-window canted bay on the right, which has a dentilled cornice. The parapet has stone coping throughout. The windows are 12-pane hornless sash windows set in reveals under flat brick arches, and the sashes in the canted bay may be original. To the left, there is a wide segmental arch with a later door and window, and four-pane sashes to the right.
At the rear, there is a three-window range with a parapet that has a red brick plat band, while the lower floor is rendered. The first floor has 12-pane hornless sash windows, and there are three pointed Gothick windows below. Some sash windows are also present on the side elevation. The interior has not been inspected.
This listing includes the front wall facing Boley Hill, which is made of brick with gabled coping, two rendered piers for the vehicle entrance, and a pedestrian entrance with quadrant walls. There is also a brick cogging course.
