Description

ROCHESTER HIGH STREET St TQ 7467 Margaret's Banks) 12/100 Nos 310 and 312 20.3.72 GV II Pair of houses, now shops. Late C18. Painted brick; Kent-tile mansard roof. Truncated left-hand end stack. 2 storeys and attic. Front: 4-window range (2.2). 2 gabled 2-light dormers. Parapet with cornice band and stone coping. 12-pane sashes in reveals under cambered winow arches to 1st floor. House doorways (to left of each unit) with pilasters, panelled reveals; panelled doors under rectangular overlights. C.1900 shop fascias with console end brackets. Later C20 plate glass shop windows.
