Description

Clement's Farm House is a hall-house that has been converted into a farmhouse. It dates from the early 15th century, with extensions added in the 17th century. The building is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a hipped roof covered with plain tiles and a tall brick chimney. It may have an aisled hall plan and stands two storeys high with irregularly placed windows. The 17th-century extensions are located to the north and south, with an outshut on the south side. Inside, there is a later solar wing that jetties over the screen's passage. The original two-bay open hall was floored in the 16th century and includes a moulded octagonal crown-post on a tie-beam. At the time of the last survey, the building was derelict.
