Description
Mark Farmhouse is a possible hall-house that dates back to the 16th century, with 19th-century additions at the rear. The building features a timber frame with red and blue brick on the ground floor and weatherboarding on the first floor. It has a concrete tiled roof that is hipped to the left and includes a gablet, with an off-centre ridge stack to the left. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows, with two casement windows on each floor. There is a boarded and ribbed door located to the extreme right, which is sheltered by a lean-to weatherhood supported by wooden posts and brick walls. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that has been rendered and also features a tiled roof.
