Description
The building located to the rear of Nos 48A and 48B is a former house dating from the early 19th century. At the time of the last survey in 1989, it was unoccupied and boarded up. The structure is made of gault brick and features a hipped roof covered with Kent tiles. It has a main range that is single depth, with a rear wing. There is an end stack at the front right and a lateral stack on the wing. The building stands two storeys tall and has a front with a regular two-window arrangement. Two of the windows are blocked, while the remaining windows are 16-pane hornless sashes set in reveals, all adorned with cambered arches. An off-centre doorway is located under a canopy, with a panelled door that is accessed by steps. The rear of the building also features hornless sash windows.
