Description
32 St Margaret's Street is a house dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is timber-framed and features significant weatherboarding, with Kent-tile roofs that are gable-ended on the front range, which runs parallel to the street, and hipped on the rear wing. A large ridge stack is positioned to the left of the building. The house is set back from the street and consists of two storeys.
The front facade has a regular arrangement of three windows, with plaster above and weatherboarding below. It features 12-pane hornless sash windows in revealed frames on both floors. On the ground floor, there are two windows to the right of the doorway, which has a simple surround and is sheltered by a canopy; the door itself is from the late 20th century. The rear wing is also weatherboarded and includes a modern three-light window. The interior has not been inspected.
