Detached house. Early t mid C18. Timber-framed, weatherboarded to right, plastered to other elevations; Kent-tile, quarter- hipped to front, with a catslide over services to rear. 2 room plan with outshut, set end-on to street. Ridge stack. 2 storeys and attic. Front: single-storey range; 2-light casement to gable wall; 16-pane sash in revealed frame to 1st floor; 2 renewed sashes to ground set within the frame of a shop front (the building formerly served as a baker's shop); panelled door to right. Tiled plinth. No windows (except tiny stair light) to side walls. Interior: modest; rough ceiling beams and joists, re-built fireplace. The original 2 rooms now a single room (ground floor; upper floors not inspected).
