Description

The wall to the south entrance and south-west garden of No. 24, formerly part of Bishop’s Court, dates from various periods, likely incorporating 16th and 17th century fabric. The front (south) wall is constructed of flint panels with brick surrounds, set upon a ragstone rubble plinth, and features triangular coping with brick cogging. Plain brick piers are topped with stone caps. The south-west garden wall is taller and built of flint and ragstone rubble, also with triangular coping. It has significant brick dressings and patching.
