Description
St James's Lodge and St James's Cottage are two houses built around 1840 that form an L shape. They are two storeys tall and feature a stuccoed cornice and parapet. St James's Lodge has four windows on its north side, including one in a rectangular projection flanked by pilasters, and two in a curved bay with one recessed window in between. The windows have moulded architrave surrounds and sills, and the glazing bars are intact. On the east front, there is a ground floor bay with three narrow round-headed windows and a porch with pilasters, above which is a conservatory with seven round-headed windows, also with intact glazing bars. St James's Cottage has three windows, two of which are in a curved bay, and features a similar porch with pilasters, along with another round-headed doorway.
