Description
No. 43 Clatterford Shute is an early to mid 19th century two-storey cottage constructed of red brick with a slate-hung front. It features a gable end slate roof with projecting eaves. The cottage has two windows, which are recessed modern casements with two lights and block sills. There is a projecting gabled porch, also slate-hung, that includes a small window at the front within a moulded frame, topped with an inset triangular-headed arch. To the side, there is a recessed door consisting of four fielded panels set in a plain wood doorcase. The gable is adorned with bargeboards and a finial.
