Description

Keep Cottage is a 17th or 18th century building that may have originally been two cottages. It is two storeys tall, constructed of red brick with grey headers, and features an old tile roof at the gable end. The cottage has four windows with late casements, thin wooden block sills, and flat brick arches made of red headers. There is a red brick plinth at the base. Although the door is modern, it retains a plain doorcase and a bracketed hood. A modern extension, which also has a gable end roof, doubles the size of the original building and is designed to be in keeping with it.
