Description
2 Miller's Lane is a building that originally consisted of two 18th century cottages, which have now been combined into one. The structure is two storeys high and features a lean-to made of flint, with red brick quoins and a red brick band separating the storeys. There are three windows with recessed casements that include glazing bars. The entrance has a modern door and porch, alongside a mid-19th century door with four fielded panels that is recessed and has a hood above it. The gable end has a slate roof, and the building was refaced in the early 19th century with painted brick and stucco. It has a hipped roof with projecting eaves and lion's heads attached to the guttering. The west front has two windows, with recessed sashes and intact glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor windows have moulded wood frames and block sills, while the first floor features fretted blind cases. On the north front, there is one window with moulded wood frames and glazing bars. Additionally, there is a tent-roofed verandah supported by plain cast iron columns on the north and west sides.
