31 Castle Street is an early 19th century cottage that stands two storeys tall and is constructed of painted brick. The cottage features a thatched roof adorned with two eyebrow dormers. It has two windows, which are casements with flush wood frames and thin block sills. The modern central door is framed by a moulded architrave and is sheltered by a rustic wood porch that also has a thatched roof.
