Description
Clatterford Cottage is a building from the 18th century that was refaced with painted brick and stucco in the early 19th century. It stands two storeys high and features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. The guttering is adorned with lion's head studding. On the west front, there are two windows, both of which are recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor windows have moulded wood frames and block sills, while the first floor has fretted blind cases. There is one window on the north front, also with moulded wood frames and glazing bars. Additionally, the cottage has a tent-roofed verandah supported by plain cast iron columns on the north and west sides.
