Description
Clonskeagh is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was later refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a stuccoed front, and has a steeply pitched slate roof, partially hidden by a parapet. The house has two storeys and attics, with three dormers – the two outer ones topped with triangular pediments and the central one with a segmental pediment. Brick stacks are located at each end of the ridge. The first floor has five twelve-pane sash windows, each with scalloped edge canopies over the upper lights and scalloped sill decoration below. The ground floor features four pairs of casement doors. The central entrance is marked by a stuccoed, segmental-headed porch with a lead roof and scalloped roof fringe, housing panelled and part-glazed doors.
