Description
Nos 2 to 6 on St Catherine Street are a block of small villa-cottages built around 1840. No 2 has two storeys facing the road and three storeys on the slope, featuring a stucco façade and a hipped slate roof with flat eaves. It has two windows on the west side and one on the lower ground floor, all with glazing bar sashes and cast iron balconettes on the first floor. The side of No 2 has two windows and a door facing the road. Nos 4 and 6 have two blind pointed arched window spaces and a door to the road. The south-facing fronts have round-headed second-floor casements with intersecting glazing bars. Nos 2 to 6 and Nos 1 to 10 on St Catherine's View form a group.
