Description
Shirley's Yard is a house dating from the early 18th century, which underwent refenestration in the early 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble, including some ironstone, and features brick dressings. The roof is tiled and has an end brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and attics in the gable end, with three windows. The windows are casements, some of which are triple, but the ground floor features 20th-century casements that are not in keeping with the original design. There is a central doorcase with an early 20th-century half-glazed door, and the house has a plinth. A catslide roof is present at the rear.
