Description

The barn at Wolverton Manor is a 17th-century structure built from Island stone rubble and topped with a thatched roof. It features gable ends with stone coping and kneelers, a very deep plinth, and nine triangular ironstone ventilation slits arranged in two tiers. The barn has two cart entrances with double doors and consists of eight bays. Inside, it has an angled queen strut roof supported by three tiers of pegged butt purlins, with no ridgepiece.
