Description
Laburnum Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century that has been refenestrated. It is constructed of irregularly-coursed sandstone rubble, with brick at the rear, and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, with two first-floor windows and a recessed panel. It has quoins at the corners and a central four-panel door with a four-pane overlight set beneath a flat arch. The flanking windows have projecting sills, renewed casements, and flat arches. The first-floor windows are similar, with arches extending beyond the existing openings indicating that the windows have been altered. Above the door, there is a flat-arched recess. The cottage also has shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings, along with renewed brick end stacks.
