Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The main range is three stories high and has three first-floor windows. To the right, there is a single-storey, single-window addition from the 19th century, which is set back, along with a two-storey wing at the rear right of the main range. A central stone porch has been added, featuring a panelled door. The flanking three-light windows have projecting sills, metal casements with horizontal glazing bars, and lintels that are tooled as voussoirs. The first-floor windows are similar, with the central window consisting of two lights and wood casements under flat arches. There are three second-floor windows beneath the eaves, all with two lights, with the central window being narrower. The building has shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings, along with renewed brick end stacks. The 19th-century addition to the right includes a door with a four-pane overlight to the left of a sash window with glazing bars.
Inside, there is a pilastered and corniced niche in the ground-floor room to the left, a contemporary staircase, and collared principal rafter trusses.
