Description
Bould Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It is constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble and features slate and stone slate roofs. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a low range parallel to the main range at the rear. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has a slightly irregular three-window front. The windows are 20th-century metal casements with wooden lintels positioned directly below the eaves. To the left and right of the central half-glazed door, which is sheltered by an open flat-roofed porch, are late 19th-century canted bay windows with stone mullions. The roof slope includes three late 19th-century gabled dormers. There are integral end stacks with moulded dripstones and capping. The lower range has two 19th-century casements directly below the eaves, one located to the lower right and a fixed-light window to the lower left, both featuring wooden lintels. Additionally, there is a short rear range with an external end stack.
