Description
Nos 117 and 119 on Barrowfield Lane are a pair of houses, likely built in the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. They are constructed from roughly-coursed sandstone rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The houses are designed as a reflected pair, standing two storeys tall with three windows on each side. They have quoins and part-glazed doors. The windows are 2-light horizontal-sliding sashes with glazing bars, projecting stone sills, and deep lintels above the ground-floor openings. There is a door at each end, while the central windows are grouped more closely together. The buildings also have two brick ridge stacks. The porches at the rear are not of special interest.
