Description
No 18 Star Street is a semi-detached building that dates back to the 19th century and is paired with No 27 Barfield Road. It stands three storeys high with a basement, featuring a rendered exterior and a painted low pitch hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. The front facade facing Star Street has three windows, with the center window being blind. The windows are recessed sash types with block sills and intact glazing bars. The east and west sides of the building are flanked by pilaster strips and have bands between the storeys, with three windows on each side, also retaining their glazing bars. The entrance is located on the side of the building.
On the garden front to the north, there are three windows, with the center one again being blind. The first-floor windows are set within round-headed panels and have intact glazing bars. There is a later bay added to the ground and first floors of No 18 Star Street, which features three windows with later glazing bars and a dentil cornice on the first floor, along with a moulded string course at the ground floor level.
