Description

Moreton House is a detached house built around 1830. It has two storeys and is finished in stucco. The roof is a low pitch hipped slate design with an eaves cornice. There is a band running between the storeys. The house features four windows, with two in a bow shape that extends through both storeys on the north side. These windows are recessed, have sash frames with later glazing bars, and block sills. An anthemion balcony is located on the first floor of the bow. The doorway is flanked by Doric pilasters and has a frieze and cornice that align with the string course. A later bay has been added to the south of the doorway.
