Description

No 8 St Thomas's Street is a semi-detached building, possibly originally one house, dating from around 1830. It stands two storeys tall and is faced with stucco. The building features a parapet and cornice, with a total of five windows, although one window space is blocked. There are two bow windows, each consisting of two windows, on both storeys. The windows are recessed, consist of sash frames with intact glazing bars, and have block sills. The entrance to No 8 has a round-headed recessed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight above it, along with a blocked window space over the door. The entrance to the adjacent Devonshire House on Spencer Road is similar and is numbered accordingly.
