Description
34 and 35 Simeon Street are semi-detached houses built around 1840. They are similar to the nearby Nos 32 and 33 but have some distinct features. The eaves are supported by brackets, and pilasters frame the entrance bays as well as the main block. The entrance bays feature half hipped slate roofs, while the first floor windows are round-headed and blind, set within architrave surrounds and with consoles beneath the sills. The flat-fronted bows on the main block's first floor are narrower, lack glazing bars, and have stepped aprons. The ground floor windows also have architrave surrounds. The doors are recurred, retaining their original panels, and have keystones above the arches. Nos 30 to 35 form a group.
