Description
Prior's Cottage is a cottage from the early 18th century that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed clunch with red brick dressings and features a thatched roof with end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys, with three windows on the main house and one on a contemporary addition to the left. The first floor has early 19th-century casements with pintle hinges, while the ground floor includes one 12-pane sash window, French windows to the right, and a later casement window to the left. At the rear, there is an integral outshut with a staggered purlin roof that contains an original mullioned window. The doors are fitted with L-hinges, and the outshut also incorporates a shepherd's hut.
