Description
Pennypot is a cottage located on Main Road in Brighstone. It dates back to the 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of clunch and features a thatched roof along with a brick chimney stack. It has one storey and attics, with two windows. There is an eyebrow dormer that includes a modern three-light window. On the ground floor, there is one twelve-pane sash window with a moulded architrave, and to the right is a 20th-century top-opening sash window. The cottage also has a projecting modern wood and glazed porch with a thatched roof and an external brick chimney stack. This building is included for its group value.
