Description

Japonica Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed clunch and features a thatched roof with two brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are 19th-century casements. A gabled weather porch made of clunch has a tiled roof. The left gable includes an original small wooden square mullioned window, while there is a stuccoed wing on the left side.
