Description

Bookside Cottage and Digby Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble, with Digby Cottage being colourwashed. The cottages feature half-hipped thatched roofs and have two brick chimney stacks. They are one storey high with attics and contain four windows in total, all of which are casement windows. Digby Cottage has one casement window on the ground floor that is adorned with a hood moulding. Both cottages have two thatched weather porches. Bookside Cottage includes a doorcase with a plank door supported by rustic columns.
