Description

Old Bengers is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of clunch, flint, and brick, featuring a brick facade and a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance is a 20th-century glazed door topped with an original pedimented head supported by brackets. The ground floor windows are sixteen-pane sashes, while the first floor has twelve-pane single hung windows, all with moulded boxes and wedge lintels on the ground floor. To the left of the door, there is a window that replaces a former door. The roof is half-hipped.
