Description

The Old Stables is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Longstreet in Enford. The building is constructed of flint and clunch with a brick facade and features a thatched roof. Originally designed as a single storey with an attic, it was later raised to two storeys. The house has two bays and a central flush four-panel door. The ground floor includes timber casement paned windows with segmental brick arches. There are brick modillion eaves, a principal stack in the left room, and a part external stack on the right. The structure was formerly the stables of an inn to the left, which were converted into part of the dwelling in the 20th century.
