Description

Nos 8 and 9 Longstreet is a house dating from the 18th century, with parts rebuilt in the late 19th to early 20th century. It is constructed of brick, banded chalk, and flint, topped with a thatched roof. The building features four bays, with a recessed 20th-century door and windows that have paired segmental-headed arches. The first floor has casement windows, and the gable is rendered. There is an extension at the south end that is not of special interest, and the house has three brick stacks.
