Description

River Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, rendered and covered with a thatched roof. It has a single storey and attic, with three bays. The entrance is in a porch on the west front, and there are timber casement windows. The thatched roof is half-hipped and swept over two flush dormers on the roadside, one at the rear. An attic window in the gable has a 17th-century leaded iron casement. Two brick stacks are present.
