Description
River Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame, rendered exterior, and a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the north. It has stacks located to the left and to the right of the center. The building consists of one storey and an attic, with the roof sweeping up over the attic windows. The east front has three windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor to the left, all of which are casements. There is a later one-storey addition to the south that is of no special interest. Additionally, there are 19th-century single-storey outbuildings made of brick, tile, and thatch adjoining to the north, which are considered important in relation to the road.
