Description

The bridge over the River Yar in Godshill dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Sussex bond, featuring some black headers. The bridge has tooled stone coping that ramps up in the center. It includes a semi-circular arch with a keystone and a stone cutwater on the upstream side.
