Description

Number 18 is an early 19th-century terraced house situated on the west side of Norfolk Road, Brighton. The house is stucco-faced with a turned roof. It is two storeys high, with a basement, and has a three-window front, designed with a double-fronted appearance. A flight of steps leads to a flat-arched entrance, featuring a shallow architrave, cornice, blocking course, and an overlight. Segmental bays flank the entrance. The windows on the first floor of the right-hand bay retain their original glazing. A central first-floor window is blank. Cornice and a blocking course are present, and side stacks are visible. The interior of the house has not been inspected. Cast-iron area railings with spearhead finials are attached to the property.
