Description
Number 41 is an early 19th-century terraced house on the east side of Grand Parade in Brighton. The house is constructed of stucco, with a roof hidden by a parapet. It rises four storeys over a basement and has a single-window facade. The ground floor is decorated with banded rustication, leading to a round-arched entrance. The entrance features pilasters, a cornice, a fanlight with intersecting tracery, and an original panelled door. A full-height segmental bay includes a bracketed balcony to the first floor, with cast-iron railings. Storey bands are present between the first, second and third floors, and a cornice and blocking course top the facade. A side stack is also visible. The interior of the property has not been inspected. Cast-iron railings with spearhead finials are present to the steps and area.
