Description
Number 26 is a terraced house located on Marlborough Place in Brighton, dating from the early 19th century. The exterior features tarred cobbles with brick dressings, which are now painted, along with stucco, and the roof is covered in slate. The house is three storeys high with a three-window range and is double-fronted. It has brick quoins, and the flat-arched entrance is framed by pilasters and an entablature with an overlight. The windows are cambered-arched, with brick quoins on the jambs, and the central windows are narrower. A stucco cornice and parapet adorn the top, and there is a side stack. The front wall is stuccoed with piers, a cornice, weathered capping, and a balustrade. The interior has not been inspected.
