Description
Number 46 is a house located on the east side of Grand Parade in Brighton, dating from the early 19th century. The building is stuccoed and features a slate roof with a rendered chimneystack. It has three storeys, a basement, and an attic, with one window on the front facade. A flat-roofed dormer contains a 9-pane sash window. The house has a splayed bay that extends through all three floors, with 32 panes in the ground and first floor windows and 48 panes in the second floor window. The first floor window is adorned with a leaded tented canopy above and a decorative cast-iron balcony below. On the right side, there is a round-headed doorcase featuring a fanlight and a six-panelled door. The interior has not been inspected. There is also a flight of stone steps and cast-iron spear railings attached to the property.
