Description

Number 77 is a terraced house from the early 19th century, located on West Street in Brighton. The building is finished in stucco and has a roof made of asbestos slate. It stands two storeys high over a half-basement and features dormers, with a six-window range and a double-fronted design. There are steps leading up to a round-arched entrance that is set back under a round arch, complete with decorative glazing in the fanlight. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey segmental bays, each containing three flat-arched windows. The first-floor windows have a sill band and sashes of original design. The building is topped with a cornice and parapet, and has side stacks. The interior has not been inspected. The property is also accompanied by cast-iron area railings that feature conical finials.
