Description
This kiosk, located at the end of West Street in Brighton, was built between 1883 and 1887. It is a single-storey, 10-sided structure made of wood and metal, topped with an asphalted roof. The kiosk features an awning supported by wooden moulded posts and has an elaborate cast-iron valence, although part of the valence is missing on the north side. At the junction of the awning and the roof, there is intricate cast-iron cresting, and a decorative lantern in cast-iron sits at the apex of the roof.
