Terraced house (No.60A now integrated). Probably late C18. Knapped flint with dressings and quoins of red brick, stucco, roof of tiles. 2 storeys, 3-window range. Central segmental-arched entrance with overlight; broad shop window to right with fluted pilasters, the other windows all segmental-arched. First-floor windows have blind-boxes. Bands of red brick to base, as storey band and below cornice; stucco cornice and blocking course; gambrel roof with side stacks. This house was stuccoed in the C19 but its original front was restored in 1989. INTERIOR: not inspected. (Carder T: The Encyclopedia of Brighton: Lewes: 1990-).
