Description
This is a detached house, now divided into two properties, built in 1891 and designed by James Ransome. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pitched tiled roof that extends to the eaves. It has two storeys plus dormers and consists of three bays. The entrance is located in a projecting porch on the right, which has a Dutch gable and a segmental-headed entrance, along with square-headed windows. The left bay is distinguished from the others by a large stack with a quadrant arch on its left side and a fire window to the right; the stack has four tapering outlets at the top. Above the left bay is a shaped gable. The windows are mainly square-headed and consist of three lights, with a central six-light window on the ground floor that is corniced and features a gable at the centre, along with decorative pargetting and the date. The original timber frames have been replaced with aluminium. To the right, there is a two-storey, one-bay attached wing with a Dutch gable that includes a garage entrance.
