Description

No. 17 Lauriston Road is a detached house built in 1891, designed by James Ransome. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof and features two main bays. The house has three storeys plus a basement. To the right, there is an arched entrance, while to the left at ground floor level, there is a canted five-light timber mullioned and transomed oriel window. The first floor has three-light square-headed windows, and there is a five-light attic window set in a shaped gable. The windows are adorned with dentil cornices and leaded lights.
